Hard to believe that it's all over now. I waited and waited for what felt like forever and now she's finally here.
I
have just a few highlights of her first day to share with you all. The doctor decided to induce me so we went in to
the hospital
Sunday morning about 10AM. Things started slow. I wanted to let my body try to run it's course naturally but
it just wasn't happening so
around 5PM we started what's called a pit drip. Things started going pretty soon after. Active
labour started at 7PM and at 9:20 with 2 pushes
our little angel came into the world. Anyone around me the last few weeks
might remember how much I talked about her activity level.
She loved to romp and play in mommy's belly. The nurses asked
me after delivery if she was very active because when she was born her umbillical cord was wrapped around
her neck, chest
and leg. Hopefully she'll be as active when she grows up and love sports like her daddy. Now less than a day later we're relaxing
at home and getting to know each other.
Josiah is adjusting well. I don't think he really understands all that's going
on but we're trying to make it an easy transition time for him.
We're feeling so blessed to have our little family all
together now on family day here in Ontario. Hope you all are enjoying thet pictures of our little princess.
Keep checking
back to see how both our little ones grow up together. That's it for now.
