Thailand was wonderful! 7 days on the beach with
nothing to do but relax. We spent most of the days at the beach, but also some time enjoying the scenery. We stayed on an
island off the west coast called Phuket. The first beach we stayed at was called Patong. It's the busiest beach with everything
you could want. Those 3 days were a little cloudy but still had fun at the beach and in the water. Shopping was good, of course.
And the fruit was wonderful. I found my newest favorite fruit, Papaya. I hadn't tasted it before we went there and I'm glad
I didn't. It was so nice to have such fresh fruit.
After that we headed down to a smaller beach called Kata. It wasn't as busy and the waves in the ocean were a lot
bigger, surfing size for sure. I had most of my fun watching my sweetheart enjoy them. Because it was rainy season, the snorkeling
at the beaches wasn't good so we headed to a nearby island to do our snorkeling. There were so many fish. I tried feeding
them watermelon and they ended up biting me! I was none too impressed. But the snorkeling was still really great. |
